B-Roll is essentially video footage that doesn't require sound. In terms of social media, the best way to think of it is behind-the-scenes footage that helps send a message or support your caption or story.

Whilst you're responsible for creating your content, I will be roaming the room throughout the day, sharing tips and supporting you as much as possible.
WILL YOU HELP ME TAKE CONTENT ON THE DAY?
Absolutely! As long as you have a smartphone with video capability you will get a lot out of the day and learn so much. You'll also have an opportunity during the initial planning session, over lunch, and at the end of the day, to ask questions and get help.
can i come along if I'm a BIT OF A BEGINNER WITH video?
Then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to use a stunning location and batch create a heap of content in one day. If you know what you want to do and don't have any questions, you're welcome to get straight into things soon after arriving.
WHAT ABOUT IF I'M PRETTY CONFIDENT WHEN IT COMES TO CREATING VIDEO CONTENT?
These days are really set up for B-Roll footage, and with a few people around you could have some background noise in your video. However if there's a quiet space that's suitable you're more than welcome to do some audio recording.
will I be able to record ANY audio to camera?
How long is a piece of string? This really depends on how prepared you are on the day, and how confident you are with taking video footage. Some people have walked away with over 100 snippets of video to use and repurpose on social media, whilst others have created around 10 pieces of content. Regardless, you are guaranteed to take away some great content to help you show up on social media in a dynamic, engaging way.
HOW MUCH CONTENT WILL I TAKE AWAY AT THE END OF THE DAY?
I'll allocate 10-15 mins with each person on the day to capture some stunning personal branding images that will complement your videos, so they won't be candid, behind-the scenes photos. I'll direct you as much as you need, and you'll have an option to change your outfit once during your mini-shoot.
HOW DO THE PHOTOS WORK? WILL THEY JUST BE CANDID SHOTS?
Once you book you'll get my pre-session guide which includes a huge list of ideas and examples you can use as inspiration for your own content. It also includes my best tips for how to take video that looks great, my personal recommendations on video equipment and editing apps, and worksheets for you to map out your ideas before the day, so you can arrive as prepared as possible. If you still feel stuck for ideas we can brainstorm during the initial planning session on the day, or reach out to me before the day.

Yes! My go-to artist Justine O will be there on the day offering express hair and makeup. You'll get an option to book this in once you've purchased your ticket.
