Tell us about your business – what do you do, who are your clients, and why do they choose you?

My business is my name – Megan Jaworski. I help women breakthrough fear, to be be bold and back themselves in business and life.

Many women feel fearful when starting and growing a business, so I provide them with coaching, training and support to breakthrough the most common fears – rejection, judgement, failure and success. This enables them to be confident doing what they love and create the change they seek to make. I only work with entrepreneurs, creatives and businesses who are focused on providing a product or service that creates positive change in the world. Businesses who are in the space of creating change work with me because my values are embedded in who I am and everything I do, and I genuinely care about your business growth and the impact you’re making.

How did you get to where you are today?

Eleven years ago I was volunteering in Zimbabwe. I partnered with a local organization to begin a school in Zimbabwe for the most disadvantaged children, as I was a teacher at the time. Through growing my charity to raise over half a million dollars and educate hundreds of children, I saw similarities between the mindset needed for that and starting and growing a business. Then my mother died, and while she was alive she never really followed through with her creative ideas. I didn’t want that to happen to other women. I studied life coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and now I work with women in business to breakthrough their fear, to be bold in who they are and the change they seek to create.

What do you love most about your work?

Seeing women light up and their energy completely shift because they’ve just discovered the possibilities within them to grow their business or bring that idea to life, something within them all along. They were simply disconnected from trusting their intuition and backing themselves as they were operating from a place of fear, not love.

What’s the most challenging thing about running your business?

Maintaining a growth mindset during a global pandemic in 2020 and stage four lockdowns! And, setting myself up with the right systems and structure to support my big vision and goals.

What’s one habit you stick to that’s helped in the success of your business?

Writing down every day a minimum of three things I appreciate in my life right now. It helps me remain present and see the possibilities before me, even when times are hard.

What’s one piece of advice that’s never left you?

There’s no such thing as failure if you continue to learn and grow. The only way you will ever fail is if you give up on yourself.

What’s one trait you think all business owners need to survive?

Resilience. When we build resilience, nothing will hold us back.

What are you excited about right now?

The work my incredible clients are doing to create change, and knowing I’m helping them achieve it. Also, launching a new membership to support women making an impact either later this year or early 2021 – we’ll see how lockdown goes 😉

What does success mean to you?

Having the means to do what I love, with who I love, whilst making a positive contribution to the world.

What impact has investing in your personal brand had on you or your business?

As a business, it has meant that people know who I am, what I stand for, and the vibe they get when they work with me. I like to mix my professional photos with selfies and personal ones on social media so they can see the different parts of who I am as a brand. I want clients to understand Megan Jaworski – my values, message, and the transformation I make. By investing in myself as a brand, I’ve been able to get clearer on this and build my business even more. Branding helps us position ourselves in the market and attract our ideal client.
